I am an IT infrastructure leader and consultant based in the Chicago area, with more than three decades of experience supporting organizations across multiple states in fully remote and hybrid environments.
My focus is reliability, clarity, and risk reduction. Less firefighting. More predictable operations.
I run agh3 IT Services to provide experienced leadership and hands-on execution to teams that need both.
How I work
I prioritize honest assessment, clear tradeoffs, and outcomes that can be verified. If an approach looks good on paper but will fail in practice, I flag it early.
My work spans long-term engagements focused on steady improvement, as well as tightly scoped projects that demand careful execution.

Outside of work
I experiment with homelabs, 3D printing, and other projects that occasionally escape into the real world. This tends to make production environments safer, since most bad ideas get broken at home first.
